Default How to remove the useless Windows 10 "Notifications" balloon taking up valuable taskbar space

Do you know how to remove the useless Windows 10 "Notifications" balloon?

I had thought I had asked this but couldn't find it in the search record,
so I'll ask (anew) if anyone yet has figured out how to eliminate the
notification balloon taking up valuable space in the Windows 10 taskbar.

I can cover the notification area with dsclock, for example:

But I'd rather simply eliminate the notification balloon altogether.
o How?

Change the number of buttons from hex 4, to, whatever, e.g., hex 0

CHANGE TO:
o PinnedQuickActionSlotCount = DWORD (32-bit) Value 0x00000000 (0)
You'll need to log out & back in, or kill & restart "explore.exe".
