Default WMP Settings?

Hi,

Internet Explorer has its own player for the Media Bar.

You need to turn the Media Bar off.

To disable Internet Explorer's (version 6) Media Bar
click the Media button on the main Toolbar, then
click "Media Options" in the new pane that opens. Now
select "settings", and then uncheck "Play web media in
the bar".

There is no need to restart your machine as this will
take effect immediately.

This should help...

Kind Regards

Marc Liron

I recently upgraded from ME, on that version when I

clicked on MPEGS online they would automatically open my
WMP, now with XP it seems that they want to run from the
webpage itself...anyone know why or how to change this?
WMP is my default player for all media file types, I
checked that already. I don't want to have to download
all kinds of files onto my computer and that it my only
alternative right now.
