Default Workstation fails to print via tcp/ip

Hello.
PROBLEM: Have a client workstation that cannot print via tcp/ip to either
of 2 network-attached printers. It can print to any shared printer via MS
print sharing, but not direct to any tcp/ip printer using a tcp/ip port.

ATTEMPTED FIXES:
1. Updated network card drivers
2. Changed printer drivers from MS to HP and back.
3. Updated printer drivers.
4. Made certain other network PCs can print directly to these two printers
via tcp/ip.
5. Applied temporary fix by sharing the 2 printers from a MS SBS2003
server, and connecting to the shared printers from the problematic
workstation. This works fine, but validates that it's the tcp/ip stack on
this workstation that is having problems.

Can someone suggest how to go about a permanent tcp/ip fix?
Thanks!
Jeff.
