Default Install Framework and Expression Web

dotNetFx35setup.exe

I cannot imagine why it will not work when I am trying to install Expression
Web 2 on XP home with all updates and Srv Pak 3.

The install starts then ask to install, Net Framework 3.x to which I agree.
The install hangs and never completes.

I have 2.x now but should I DL 2.5 then 3.0 then 3.5 and install and restart
after each version? It is hard to imagine having to do that.

Download 3.5 from here and install it, and then install EW:

Thank you. I tried that. It will not install. It hangs.

It hangs for 30 minutes.

This is the 1st time I have never been able to install any program.
I turned off MS Live One Care.
Rebooted.
Cannot figure it out. There must be something wrong with my PC. Maybe the
MS Install Cleaner can solve it?
