Default Runtime errors while printing

I'm experiencing runtime errors in two situations with my spouse's account on
my XP, but not on mine own account. My spouse's account has administrator
privileges, just like mine. I also tried creating a new administrator
account, which behaved the same as my spouse's account.

First, when my spouse tries to print from IE7, it says "Internet Explorer
Script Error" and "An error has occurred in the script on this page". The
buttons flash in respond to a mouse click, otherwise the dialog box is
unresponsive and I have to use Task Manager to close the window. When I use
my own account, it works fine - the print dialog, the one where one can
choose what printer (or equivalent) they want to use, displays works
normally. I tried checking and unchecking the "Disable Script Debugger
(Internet Explorer)", disable "Script Debugger (Other)" and "Display a
Notification About Every Script Error" boxes in the Tools Internet Options
Advance, but it made no difference in behavior. After some web research, I
tried installing KB917344, with no effect, and "regsvr32 msxml3.dll", which
it responded as being registered but still no effect on its behavior. I
tried Control Panel Printers to change the default printer, and had no
success.

The other possibly related problem is when my spouse clicks on Start
Control Panel User Accounts, it states "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do
you wish to debug?" The reported parameters are line:0 and "object
expected". After clicking "No", it becomes line:5 with no additional
information. Click "NO" again, and it says Line 15 "g_Navigator is
undefined". Press "Yes" and any point, and it says I have to get "MSXML3.DLL
Service Pack 4 release from MSDN" or "Internet Explorer 6.0 via Windows
Update". Now, I'm running IE7, so I don't understand why I need something
from IE6. I can find Service Pack 7, but not Service Pack 4, but it seems to
apply only to software developers, not users.

While my account is fine, my spouse is not so happy. I routinely scan for
viruses, trojans, etc. defrag a lot and check for updates at least once a
week. But my spouse says this has been going on for awhile. Both errors
seem to have something to do with Scripts, so they appear related. What else
can I do?
