Soundmax missing - need help
I accidentally used Add/Remove Programs to remove Soundmax, so now XP
is telling me I need the Multimedia Audio Controller. Is there a way I could download a file or would I have to have the CDROM? The computer is a Dell Optimax GX520. Of course I went to dell.com but was confused. I'm not sure I have the CD here. Does "Multimedia Audio Controller" exactly mean the drivers, or something to do with drivers? Thanks.

Download the audio drivers to a place you will find them, ex. your Desktop. It will be something like R3452.exe. Double-click the file you downloaded to install the sound drivers.
