How to open email with .email extension

At times folks send me e-mail with .email extension; how can I have Outlook
Express 6 open it. Presently I change the extension to .eml to open.

The "Open with.." will start Outlook Express but not open the file.

If it opens then just make an association with .email extension to
outlook express 6. Then you don't have to rename it all the time.
