Default quick ad aware question

i tried to reinstall ad aware, did so, partially, as it only allowed me to
do so much. so i went to explorer & deleted everything i could find ad
aware & lavasoft, but in add/remove, its still there, so no problem as i'll
simply remove it. only i can't; when i click on it, there is no "remove" for
me to click on - any ideas ?

many, many thanks

Yes, do a reinstall and see if it can be removed from add remove then.
You probably deleted (assuming it was created) the files it needed for
an uninstall.
I've had good luck with things like that using addremovePro, a
freebie. Search for it; easy to find.
