Default Windows Update Won't install


Hi, I have an hp pavilion dv1000 Laptop, but when I try to install the
Update for XP (KB961118) I get Error Code: 0x8007F01E. Can Someone tell
me what this means?

8007F01E - STR_CATALOG_INSTALL_FAILED
Setup has detected that the build version of the system installed does not
match the update you are applying to it.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP; WinXP SP1; WinXP SP2;
WinXP SP3) when posting in a forum or newsgroup. Please do so in your next
reply.

1. Is .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed [yes/no]

2. Have you encountered an unsigned Inbox Printer driver? [yes/no]
