Default Soundcard low pass filter

Hi,

I tried to use the DRM software dream on my Asus EeePC 1000H and recognize
that the frequency response is cutted at 8 kHz. I suppose there is a high
frequency cut off filter, but I didn't fond anything to solve this problem.
Also is there no possibility to change the sample rat.

The System is Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3.

Sound Chip is a Realtek High Definition Audio chip.

The Microphone on the USB Camera don't shows this problem.

Is there a hope?

Thanks

Hansjoerg

You could use an external USB audio interface, such as any of the ones
M-Audio makes. These won't have nearly the same limitations and many
advantages. Since your system is small, consider an interface such as the
Transit.
