hotfix for dvd drive
Is there a fix for using dvd+r or dvd+rw. when I try to use my backup
softwear it won't reconize my drives as dvd. I looked at the Microsoft sites. All I came up with is installing sp3. I have already installed sp3. I used windows update, came up with no soultion. I also installed Microsoft's mr fixit. That did nothing. I did find some sites that said there is a hotfix. If it's out there I can't find it. I keep coming back to sp3. HP Compaq dc5750 Microtower XP pro sp3 installed Don't let the XP pro fool you. I'm not a pro. Thanks to all that take the time to reply. Edward
