Default Wireless Zero Configuration

Have looked at many solutions to article 871122 problems but cant seem to
find one that corrects mine. Our ISP was BT, which turned off WZC. I want to
change from BT and have deleted the programmes via Add and Delete Programmes
in the Control Panel. Running XP by the way. When the laptop searches for
networks it still only finds BT's. Can’t seem to turn WZC back on. Can anyone
help?
