Default Temporary freeze with Windows Messenger 4.7.2005

Hello.

When I chat with Windows Messenger, the program freezes for a couple
seconds. I don't recall making any major system changes before this
happened. I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it but that
didn't solve it. Have you heard of this problem before?

Thanks!

I did have the exact problem you described. No idea what caused it.
I did a recent reinstall of OS becuse of a new H/D. (the pause is gone for
now)
Just replied so you knew you weren't alone with that problem.

Thanks for the info.

I think I got off the hook easy this time. I downloaded DX9a (note the 'a')
and that seemed to solve the problem. Strange thing is that I didn't have a
problem with Windows Messenger and DX9 when I first downloaded DX9.

All is well now.

Thanks...
