Default How do I recover a deleted 'My Computers' desktop icon?

I hove noticed the My Computer icon has been deleted from
my desktop and is alo not in the Recycle bin. Just making
a shortcut of the My Computer directory does not recover
the special functionality of the original Icon (e.g. extra
info when veiwing Properties), so how can I make a new
fully functional icon?

Thanks

Hi
Right click an empty spot on your desk top/ click the desk top tab/ click
the Customize Desktop button/ at the General tab put a check by My Computer.
Then close the dialogue boxes.
