webcams that do not work
Does anyone know if there is a list anywhere of webcams that do not work
with Messenger and/or Win XP? My Dad bought a Chicony webcam and cannot get it to work. Don't know if its the cam or a compatibility problem. Thanks, John

Generally speaking, the non-brand names have problems. Hello Jonathan,
thanks for your reply. When he goes to the audio tuning wizard, it says the webcam is not available. He has installed the webcam correctly as far as I know. Anything else to try? John

Hi John
It might not be ur cam....I have a top digicam/acts as webcam, and it wont work with MSN messenger but will with windows messenger on xp...what messenger are you trying to use?
