Constant 10 second pause when connected to ISP
John wrote:
I hope someone can help. My connection to the internet seems to be in a constant cycle of 30 seconds connection then 10 seconds of no connection it doesn't log me off but seems to pause. I'm running XP Pro, AVG anti virus and Zone alarm Free version. Any help appriciated as the ISP help desk has washed its hands of me. What kind of connection - dial-up or broadband? Router, ethernet direct to cable/dsl modem? Q |

Quaoar I'm still on dial-up as broadband isn't available in my area. One computer straight connection to the phone line. What other devices, telephone, fax, etc. are on the phone line? Have you tried an alternate dial-up number? Q |
