ICS is designed to work only with 192.168.0.x. If you need to change the IP range, use something other than ICS for Internet sharing. You can manually change the host computer's LAN connection IP address. That will disable the ICS host's DHCP server, and it might cause other problems on the network. If you want to try it, make a system restore point first so that you can recover from any problems. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see. Provider uses 192.168.0.x address in his network. I can configured all my IPs as static. But how can I enable routing beetwen two lan cards (wireless with internet and normal with my lan, what parameters would I enter to routing table) Best wishess too. Wacek |

It can move packets between your computers, but it won't give Internet access to the other one(s). If your ISP will give you multiple 192.168.0.x IP addresses, disable ICS and then create a network bridge between the wireless and LAN connections on the XP computer. That will combine them into one logical network. I've written a web page with details: XP ICS - Network Bridge http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...workbridge.htm If you can only get one 192.168.0.x IP address, then the choices that I see a 1. Change the ICS host's LAN IP address to another subnet, assign static IP address(es) to the other computer(s), and see if it works. 2. Use a different Internet sharing program. 3. Get a wireless broadband router, connect your ISP to its WAN (Internet) port, and connect the other computers to it using wired or wireless connections. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
