Default XPPro-Sp1 getting GPO errors to Win2k Domain no scripts

I have a win2k a/c domain with both win2k and xppro pc's.
I just upgraded my pdc's to svcpak4. Now, we just tried
connecting new XP-pro(sp1) desktops using dhcp to domain,
and they get gpo errors (1030&1058 eventids), and they
don't run the startup scripts. I went thru ms support
docs, and granted everyone rights to the root policies
folder. I verified the dhcp settings on the clients. I
tried removing them from the domain, and readding them.
All w/o luck. If I loging w/ roaming profiles -ok. If I
manually browse and run the scripts-ok.
What am I missing? Any good ideas out there?
thanks
