Default Please answer a few questions...

I have decided that this Windows XP home edition isnt
worth the time and would rather have my old faithful
Windows 95 back! I got this DELL computer in January. I
had cable on it and decided to go with DSL. My first
mistake, I know! When I loaded the DSL cd, thats when I
started having probs with Windows XP. Freezing, thawing
and just plain not working right. NO problems till the
DSL cd was used. How hard can it be to load DSL you
ask...LOL I have posted questions here...I have asked
DELL...I have talked to the DSL provider and guess what!
STILL THE SAME PROBLEMS! Im beginning to believe that
nobody knows anything! If I sound upset yes, you are
right. I know it has to be the software...but what is it
with the software?? I was told by DELL, my windows could
be corrupted...HOW?? From that DSL cd?? Nobody answers
that question. I can only tell you what I see this
computer doing. I am not computer smart but I can see
right now that most Ive talk to arent either!

Problem for the last time: Windows freezes, looks like it
is melting down the screen when you shut it down, the end
task DOES NOT end the task most of the time, the windows
takes FOREVER to load, etc. Now I am going to ask this
question, if I do a system restore back to the first of
April when I know it was working right, will it take out
my DSL settings and Ill have to load that stupid cd
again???

Thank you again for any help you may be able to give.
You dont know how many times Ive come close to putting a
foot thru this computer! I probably would but Id only
hurt my foot!! :-)
