Default 5-10 MINS TO RESTART THE COMP

My computer takes from 5-10 mins to restart, Ive taken
off all spyware and cleaned the registry and everything
imaginable, im a freak about having my comp run nice. I
cant figure out for the life of me why it takes so dam
long to restart. i have very few programs running in the
background to. Ive had this problem for over a year.
any help would be appreciated.
