Windows Registry Problems
How do I go about fixing Windows Registry problems? I
ran a Norton SystemWorks Checkup and it found (2) Invalid File Extensions & (22) Invalid ActiveX/Com Entries. It was not able to repair any of these. I seem to be missing file icons such as: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\pkmres.dll,11 It seems to be slowing down my computer. Any suggestions to how I can repair these problems. |

Windows Registry Problems
Hi
The XP Registry doesn't need cleaning up - it looks after itself. If Norton has again managed to cause a problem, see if it has an 'undo' option. Failing that, reboot and keep hitting F8 - select 'Last Known Good Configuration'. -- Will Denny MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User "Jenny" wrote in message ... | How do I go about fixing Windows Registry problems?
