Default desktop picture

my son changed his desktop picture and i think he downloade a pic from the internet but he changed it again on the appearance and themes , in control panel,to the vortec space picture, but we cant get rid of the first one , it stays on top of whatever we p
ut on and if you go to left side you can drag it over and the pic he wants is underneath, when he logs off this pic goes downwards and his windows desktop pic is there , then we get a small box saying ending program, only for a second or two, no one else h
as this problem , how can i shift this picture. thank you

I have found an answer to this question in this news group, and all is now restored to normal , thank you very much
