Default Workaround for DV/D8/firewire video in MSN Messenger

How to get around the DV / firewire videoproblem in MSN Messenger 6.1:

I've got at Sony DV camcorder and as a workaround i use a program called
Trackercam www.trackercam.com (free if you dont buy the tripod)

1. start the trackcam program and let it find your cam (DV or not).
2. use the messenger Audio Tuning vizard and choose trackercam-driver
3. video/sound works...(hopefully ;o) )

Incdredible that Microsoft don't solve this problem and all the others... -
Messenger is not at all plug & play!!!
i use www.skype.com as a IP-phone - THAT WORK's !! - MS should buy Skype
..;o)

Greetings from
Jesper in Denmark
