Default agere HV90P-T

Bought a second hand pc with xpsp2 in it. now, the adsl modem is gone and
trying to fix in the other modem which has the following spec
"agere HV 90P-T REA12 0111S 4296493 98 Agere" with another chip block with
"shinmei 2301"

Is this a broadband modem or a 56k dial up. cant figure out which is which
and need the driver too. can any pc expert assist, please and thanks

It's a dialup modem. If unable to find drivers at the manufacturer's site,
you can "google" by the model number. It will bring up links for several
sites that have drivers available for downloading.

Many thanks. Thats no good as after getting use to BB, 56K will be too slow
for me, guess have to go to the shop again..... , thanks
