Default Making a VCD

Movie Maker has some nice features for someone wanting to create a photo
slide show (including transitions and so on). But can it produce a VCD that
is readable on all TVs? I don't know what the HIMAT is the MM program refers
to but neither of our DVD players will read it. I also purchased Movie
Factory 4 with the understanding this DVD authoring program would enable VCD
creation with Movie Maker but when I try to open a MM slideshow in MF I get
the message "this file format is not supported in this version."

Thanks to anyone willing to help!

Gary, MM cannot make a vcd. After doing your edit, save the resultant file
as a dv-avi, then import this onto movie factory. It's possivble you are
trying to import the project file which won't go.

Hello Gary,

Why not trying Photo2DVD Studio? It's easy for you to create wonderful
photo slide show on DVDs or VCDs, complete with transitions, text,
music and powerful selection of dvd menus. I For more details, simply
refer to http://www.photo-to-dvd.com

Best regards.
