Default Make shared PC drive appear as a usb hdd

HI.

I dont know if this is possible, hence me asking, I have a DVD player
(yamada Chilli) that has a USB connection, and will accept USB HDD.

What i would like to do if possible is make a shared drawer on a PC
appear to be a USB hard drive, and connect the PC to the DVD player via
a USB-USB cable.

So is there any such software which would allow this to be possible ?

Thanks in advance for any replys, Even if they are just to say "dont be
so stupid"

There is no software that will do this. However, you could locate a USB
enclosure box which will convert the standard drive to a USB drive.

Thanks for the response Yves Leclerc.

I do already have an external USB drive, a 2.5inch laptop in external
enclosure, was just interested to see if i could do away with having to
move that back and forward between the PC and the DVD player, ah well
never mind

Thanks again

You could locate a USB device sharing hub which will allow to to "share" the
drive between the DVD player and the laptop. However, both need to be close
to each other.
