Place those recipients in the To: field. The Fax Service will dial each
valid fax address in succession. This answer is too simple. Have I misunderstood your question? If I have, clarify it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David Sherman" wrote in message ... You'll need to find out why and what happens instead. It works for others.

Send to Mail Multiple fax Recipient numbers
The problem is that Outlook 2003 doesn't place a "+" in front of the
number when there are multiple fax numbers to send a fax to. Microsoft fax should look a +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx. So the client is faxing to 1 xxx xxx-xxxx. If he sends to a single fax number, it works properly. The client says that microsoft is aware of the problem but can't locate the fix. Outlook most certainly does place a + in front of the number when you tell
it to. Fax numbers should always be stored in canonical format for the fax service to work properly. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David Sherman" wrote in message ... Send to Mail Multiple fax Recipient numbers
The + is not being being dialed when multiple receipts are selected.
Fax numbers are stored propely in canonical format as single receipt faxes are being sent. So How do I correct this error in Outlook? thanks On Mon, 26 Mar 2007 16:52:19 -0400, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Outlook most certainly does place a + in front of the number when you tell it to. There is no such "error" in Outlook. As I said, this works fine for everyone
else. You have provided no steps that can reproduce your issue. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David Sherman" wrote in message ... Open Word create the document File, Print Select MS fax OK Next Open address box select who you want to send it to next etc The +1 doesn't show up when multiple recipients are selected. If one person is selected, the + number is seen. On Mon, 26 Mar 2007 22:07:30 -0400, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: There is no such "error" in Outlook. Interesting conclusions you've made, but not valid ones. Whether the +
appears is not relevant. Nor does your question even involve Outlook, despite your misleading initial post. You are not using Outlook. My answers applied to sending from Outlook since that was what your question was. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David Sherman" wrote in message ... I'm having a similar problem. When using the Windows fax wizard I try to
pull multiple contacts from the address book option it brings up my Microsoft Oulook contacts. When I select the contacts I want it doesn't put the +1 in front of the fax number that is imported into the fax wizard. You are only using the Outlook Address Book to store your recipients. You
are using the Fax Service to send faxes. Sending to multiple recipients works in Outlook, but it is not robust. You can only send to 3 or 4 at most. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David Sherman" wrote in message ... I am using the address book in Outlook to send the faxes. Do you know if the hotfx mentioned in KB925923 fixes this prblem?
In searching the internet , I noticed that this problem has been around since 1998 and also effects faxing from Small Busines Server. thanks On Mon, 2 Apr 2007 17:29:15 -0400, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You are only using the Outlook Address Book to store your recipients.
