Default Removing Unwanted Folders?

Has anyone been successful in removing unwanted folders? I'm referring
to folders like:

C:\Program Files\...

Internet Explorer (yah yah i know...)
microsoft frontpage
movie maker
MSN Gaming Zone
NetMeeting
outlook express
xerox

C:\Documents and Settings\...

ANYTHING!

I'm attempting to make a "crap free" install of XP using nLite. Any
and all ideas / help will be considered. Thanks... Rich

Some or all of those are "system critical files", according to
Microsoft, so you can delete them but they come right back, like a
dog to its vomit.

It stretches my credulity pretty far to believe that MSN Gaming Zone
is essential to the functioning of my computer.

Yah i know but i figured someone here must have figured out a registry
hack or setup file hack that would make these annoyances go away.
Thanks anyway!

Try removing them as "Windows Components" ....
Control Panel Add/Remove Programs Add/Remove Components (from the
left vertical bar).
Then uncheck any Component (additional program) like Outlookexpress,
MSN Gaming....... Then click next to continue with the wizard.....

Ok Neo, i did try that after i removed the word hide from one of the
other files. No joy. I know this is trivial but i try to keep a non
cluttered harddrive and if the folder isn't used it's outta here...
Thanks for the help Neo!
