Default How to keep my new window?

Hi! Sometimes when I open a new window, it just disappear as fast as it
showed up. Can somebody help me? I tried to go to alternatives for internet
and to reset the adjustings in the area safety, but it didn't help. It
doesn't help to turn of the pop-up blocking either.

It is probably just offscreen. Put the focus in the new window by using it's
icon on the taskbar. Press Alt-space to open that window's system menu, and
press M for move, then press the up-arrow key, and then click the mouse. The
window will appear at the mouse click.

The window is not offscreen. The new window I'm trying to open is often a
link from another page, different filetypes. It appears in the middle of the
screen, and it closes itself right after it was opened.

I would guess you are seeing some form of relic damage from curing a bit of
spyware. I think it would be worth a try at fixing that with this.
Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm

If no help, I would try running the command SFC /SCANNOW
