Default deleting from address bar

hi - how do I delete websites from the autocomplete in my address bar? I've
cleared the history, but it still autocompletes some websites I probably
shouldn't have been visiting - how do I make them go away? It's wierd, it
autocompletes some sites, but not others...

Thanks for your help

I had that same question not too long ago and someone suggested a free
program called EditURLs that you can get at this website (look down toward
the bottom of the page): http://www.aandrc.com/

It's extremely simple to use and will allow you to choose which URLs you
want to delete and which to keep. It doesn't work in the address bar if
you use it from your tool bar, but those can be deleted by clearing your
most recently opened documents list in Start menu, Properties, Advanced.

Autocomplete is an option at IE, tools menu, Content tab,
AutoComplete/Settings button. Clearing is one option, or you might uncheck
autocomplete for the "Web Addresses".
