Weird Message Pop-Up On On My Screen
ok, i really dont know what is going on with my laptop, when i log on, my
computer runs normally for about 30 or 40 minutes and then a weird blue screen comes up that says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Run a system diagnostic utility supplied by your hardware manufacturer. In particular, run a memory check, and check for faulty or mismatched memory. Try changing video adaptors. Disable or remove any newly installed hardware or drivers. Disable or remove any newly installed software. If you need to use Safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and select Safe mode. Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x00000007F (0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x 00000000, 0x00000000) Beginning dump of physical memory Physical memory dumb complete. You probably have a heat related hardware failure. Do what it says, and see if you got any diagnostics with your laptop. If you need a good (free) memory tester, try http://www.memtest.org/, I've used it a number of times, and it's quite reliable. As the name refer to, it is a memory problem, some applications/programs didn't release the memory in timely fashion causing the Error to be thrown by the system error reporting tools. Also it could be the work of malware, badly written applications installed on your system including third party toolbars installed beside Internet explorer, do you have other toolbars installed try to uninstall them, memory gone bad or loose in their slots/dust also can cause this. 1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies by doing this: Click Start Control Panel Double click Network and Internet Connections Double click Internet Options. On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps: General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs | Advanced Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies. Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option: [&] Browsing [ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box. Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the culprit and update it or remove it.
