Default QuickTime Video dissapears after screen save kicks in

yes, as stated in subject - after the screen saver kicks in while watching a
quicktime video, the video is gone - it's replaced by the desktop picture.
Audio is ok.. just video gone. I can go in and change the screensaver time
- make it longer or turn screensave off - and that works. Just dont think I
should have to change screensave time every time i want to see a quicktime
video.
Ideas? Thanks.
