Default When not connected remotely, computer searches for remote computer?!?!

I have a client who connects to his work computer from home via VPN and RDP.
When he is at work and he tried to right-click any file other than an exe,
it takes 1-2 minutes for the pop-up menu to open. I have followed tons of
articles and tips and finally sniffed the packets and found that the work
computer is actually looking for his home computer?!? I searched through
the registry for the IP of the computer and the name and didn't find
either?! Does anyone have any suggestions?

tia,
B

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:
