Microsoft Outlook & Outlook Express
I use Windows XP and have a desktop and laptop computer. I have been using Outlook Express Genie to back up. I have used this successfully in the past to back up both Outlook and Express.
I have exported messages from Outlook Express to Outlook on the desktop computer and had a large number in Outlook that had to do with some boards I am on, registration numbers etc I backed this up in Outlook Express Genie and intended to restore to Outlook on the laptop since there was more memory there. I made the mistake of deleting the messages in Outlook prior to restoring to laptop. Evidently the back up did not take as the only thing that restored on the laptop was the messages that had been in Outlook Express on the other computer although I picked Outlook to back up. Are all these messages gone for good or is there a way to recover? I am now afraid to use Outlook Express Genie. Any better suggestions? Thank you. Kansas-Cavalier |
