MOV to mpeg-4 - Views only top10% of screen - newbie ?
OK John
I used "Super DVD Creator" to go from MOV of DVD. I was looking for something that would allow me to edit the clips and join then. Super DVD also burns to disk. I've downloaded ImgBurn and will tru it our also as I wanted an ISO burner for something else, further on. Super DVD" has it's limitations... ie: Cannot add voice to clip / titles don't work too well... but it did burn a DVD and the disk worked on all my machines. Can you answer me two questions? 1) why convert a file to ISO, then burn an ISO file to DVD?... why not just copy the AUDIO / VIDEO_TS forlder to a dvd? Also, would you recommend convert MPEG4 files to ISO first then ImgBurn them to a DVD? 2) Do you know of a decent clip converter / editor that will do both functions on MOV files and then convert to DivX and DVD? My problem is I don't want to convert from MOV to something inbetween like WMP so I can use the Microsoft free editor, then convert that to either MPEG4 or DVD only to find out I lost a lot of quality somewhere along the lines. thanks - higrader |

thanks John
you've helped me a lot, and I guess with time it'll get easier... though it seems like a lot of learning for a few home movies out of a camera. cheers- higrader |
