WIndows Live Messenger doesn't store sign-in details

Hi,
When I sign-in to windows live messenger I enter my email address and
password and check the three boxes;
- Remember Me
- Remember my Password
- Sign me in automatically

However, if I exit WLM and run the program again none of my details appear.
The same thing happens if I restart my computer after signing out. I have
also tried various combinations of the check boxes.

I originally experienced the 80004005 error and was instructed to delete
various folders relating to WLM. Could this be a cause of the problem. The
current WLM program was installed a few days after deleting the folders.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
