Just to say goodbye to all in the w7 newsgroup as I have now
successfully installed W10.

I remember when I first joined receiving a lot of criticism for
suggesting W8 was a pile of junk. It seems most of the world agrees
with me now!

We may meet again on W10.

Good for only 30 days after migrating to Windows 10. I prefer relying
on an image backup to revert my computer back to a prior state. No
having to worry about or encountering troubles when using an inplace
reversion scheme.

To me, Windows 10 RTM really looks like another Preview release. They
need more active feedback on how their product sucks. Lots of users
won't test or use pre-release versions. By purporting the product was
released (which impugns it is ready for public consumption), they get a
lot more users testing their new software on more hardware. An easy way
to hook 'em is with "free" bait.

as good as win 7

Lol...the estimated 67 million(and increasing rapidly over the next 11
months) free-upgrade adopters may very well determine the guinea pig
state the Win7 population will have available to them in 2020.

I have a friend who is relatively tech-savvy who insisted on "upgrading."
He is now allowed to go to Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Wikipedia. No
game sites, no YouTube, nothing else. It's enough to make me run fast and
far from W10. Granted, this appears to have a lot to do with the ISP we
both use, but I don't know much about W10 and I have no desire to learn.
