Hi;
Means you did not get it from an Approved/Official Source. Probably a
"leak".
Best place is still Microsoft.

I am having the sam problem. If anyone can help, It only happens when
I try to install DirectX 9.0. I have downloaded direct x from
microsoft. I have also tried the diectX web install and i still get
the same error. If it helps I will include the diect x error log.

I get the same message all the time now. I have recently been trying to install some new cameras and printer software and get a pop up that tells me that software I am installing does not pass windows logo tests. The printer is an HP 7700 series and
the other hardware is a general USB hub. Any one have an idea what is the root cause for this warning. I find it hard to believe that software from HP isn't logo validated, I think it may be more likely is that I am not getting past an internal check fo
r some reason, because it happens all the time now.

Thanks for any advice
