Default can't play videos off youtube

i used to able to play them but recently a message come up javascript may be
turned off or download the latest blarblarblar... i have sussefully
downloaded the other thing but it still won't work how do i turn javascrip
back on please???? i didn't know i'd turned it off

Sometimes such a message is a false warning and the problem is really
something else. Turning script on and off varies for different
browsers, but it usually starts at the tools tab and goes several
levels down. For IE6:

click tools tab select internet options click security tab click
custom level button go to bottom of list and then go up a bit until
you find active scripting and make sure it is marked enabled.

For Firefox:

click tools tab select options click content tab make sure the
enable javascript selection is checked. Do not confuse java listed
just below javascript with javascript. It is something completely
different.
