You know you are giving communism a bad name by use that .signature!

My thoughts were the exact opposite - he is not helping the cause of
GNU/Linux by equating it to communism, given the negative gut reaction
of most Americans to the word "communism".

He's a troll, nothing more. As the "Slimer" should clue one in, instantly.

That's precisely his intention.

Of course he ignores the actual characteristics of the things he's comparing.

I've already explained how Communism (as defined by Marx) and GNU/Linux
are similar. If you choose to ignore that, it's up to you but don't act as
though I haven't already properly informed you because it fits your
objective of discrediting me.

A troll wouldn't provide evidence of his claims as I always do. Every time
you consider something 'trolling,' I always post a link with evidence of
my claim. Meanwhile, you and your GNUtard friends never bother to post any
kind of evidence of anything even when this is requested by people,
preferring to get your friends to gang up on whoever requests this
evidence and insult him ad nauseum until he goes away. Face it, GNU/Linux
*IS* Communism and anyone who is aware of what Marx preached as well as
what RMS preaches (I am, you apparently are not) would see the
similarities.

Ahlstrom today noted that the difference between "decent people" and others
is that "decent people" can show references and links.

He admitted his herd is lacking in "decent people"... but I doubt he did so
on purpose and will deny it. And his herd will attack me for noting it.

Oh, the irony.

late 80's.

to stay inside one of those drives :-) That'll be
the magic part of the design.

Well I had worked 10 years with ultra-high vacuum systems on electron
microscopes. We had to open them up from time to time for cleaning
and/or replacing parts. Plus there were accessories that also used
independent vacuum chambers. And it isn't really tough to make something
large or small to hold a vacuum for decades. After all, incandescent
light bulbs and CRTs are always under a vacuum. And there are watches
that can handle 300 feet of water pressure without leaking. So keeping
something in or out (including helium) isn't really all that hard.
