Default Broadband Icon Vanishes

I have a small problem. Whenever I create a broadband PPPoE
connection, the icon vanishes from Network Connections
whenever I reboot. I can still connect via a desktop
shortcut, but then the PPPoE connection icon won't be in
the systray. The problem started after I got the latest
window update, however rolling it back did nothing to fix
the problem. This is frustrating me greatly. I am running
Windows XP Home.

Are there any connections in your connections folder?
