Notify on using Cached Credentials
I am using Windows XP Pro clients on a Windows 2000 AD Domain. Is there
anyway I can have XP notify my users when a domain controller is not found upon logon? NT would do this by default and 2000 would do this with a Reg Hack. (See KB242536) Can this be done with XP? |

Yes, trying the obvious first did not make a difference.

Hi Brock,
Per the development team, this feature was intentionally removed from XP due to usability issues and there are no plans to reinstate it. The behavior is by design.
