Default Problem with old disk with new computer

I had to replace my laptop computer due to a problem with
the motherboard. I have connected the old drive to my
new laptop with a PC Card hookup. I can browse the disk
and see all the information bt when I try to copy items
to my new disk, I get an error that the file is open or I
do nothave premission to copy the file.

I think I have to do something o reset the security on
the old disk, can anyone advie?
