obvious, that Win-10-nic is HARMING the industry by its very presence,
because MS released a ****TY operating system, and is FORCING people to
migrate to it whether they want it or not, as in "shut up and eat your
**** sandwich".

Because Microsoft appears to exist in a bubble world where it's OK to
violate your customer's privacy, and hand them an inferior product "for
free" in order to TARGET THEM WITH ADVERTISING AND SPY ON THEM LATER,
because "they can", because "they're Microsoft" and they want to act
like an evil empire.

Microsoft SHOULD be like BURGER KING: "Have it YOUR way, loyal
customers!" but they're not. And it's *BITING* *THEM* *IN* *THE*
*ASS*. And some of us are GLOATING over it, hoping that Micro-shaft
will *GET* *THE* *MESSAGE* and GO BACK to being a CUSTOMER SERVICE
company instead of a CUSTOMER DOMINATION company.

The "point" is the headline, as it should be with any news article.

His point is that people should know that he is a known troll and that
he is a mother ****er.

He is not even a Windows 10 user and yet he keeps hanging out here. That
is what mother ****ers do.

It's not Microsoft's job to support other industries. Microsoft has to
look after its own balance sheet and plan accordingly. Windows 10 is a
step in the right direction in that people would be able to get to
Microsoft Store without much problems. this is good business strategy IMO.

Who cares about hardware manufacturers? They should re-invent
themselves if their industry is struggling to make sales or simply get
out of it and let somebody else (called inter-lopers) get in.

So this you then?

A mother reunited with the son she gave up for adoption 30 years ago
says now they’re in love - and trying for a baby together.

You mean - there's stuff in the Microsoft Store that is worth having?

I keep an eye on this newsgroup because there is just one piece of
specialised software I need to keep Windows for, so I need to look out
for solutions to the next update or upgrade crash. Maybe advanced
warning on other problems like default programs being switched back to
**** sandwiches, screen displays being altered etc.

LOL, so true. However, they now sell Gears of War Ultimate and other
Xbox One games there so that, by itself, is worth having.

I'm running Windows 10 and have no problems with it, but my PC is 5
years old. It was fast when I bought it and is still fast enough. In
my opinion, the problem with PC sales is that a new PC is not
essential for a lot of people and has little to do with whether or
not people want Windows 10.
