Default background option greyed out

Suddenly all our user's XP desktop got backupground option greyed out. I
want to check if there is a local policy could cuase that since we just
rollout a security update. Where could it be?

Chris, go to StartRun type gpedit.msc I think you will find it
there.

Sounds like malware at work here. Try this
http://www.randem.com/virusproblems.html First try a system restore as
described. You may be in too deep and need to do a PC Recovery (re-install)
if the above doesn't work.

Thank you, both. I found the problem. It's due to RDP connection. I should
mention that in my post. With RDP connection you can't either view or set
backgroud. To do so you have to either logon locally or use remote control.
I usually deal with servers which don't use any background.
