Default Monitoring Event Log Via E-mail

I am interested in monitoring the event logs from one of my clients who has
about 12 XP PRO sp1 and sp2 computers.
What I would like to do is have an E-mail automatically sent to me when
anything other than an 'information' type event is recorded in these logs.
Is this possible without installing commercial software?

Thank you in advance.
