I like my 2000 better If you chose to retain your Windows 2000 files during the upgrade, you can uninstall XP from Add/Remove Programs. If you didn't, you'll need to format the drive and clean install Win2k. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User |

I like my 2000 better It depnds on how you intalled xp. if you did a system upgrade, such that all yor previous programs and settings were preserved, you maybe able uninstall xp from add/remove programs. But if it's a clean, vanilla xp you installed, you essentially have to reformat the disk and reinstall win2k. Dave |

I like my 2000 better You've already gotten answers to your question, but let me add a question and a comment. Despite the difference in the names they are sold under, Windows XP (Windows NT 5.1, under the hood) is really just a newer and improved version of Windows 2000 (Windows NT 5.0). There's little, if anything, to prefer about Windows 2000. What do you like better about Windows 2000? If it's just the interface, do you realize that the new Windows XP interface is entirely optional, and you can easily switch to the classic interface, making it look essentially like Windows 2000? -- Ken Blake - Microsoft MVP Windows: Shell/User Please reply to the newsgroup |
