avance acī97 audio device and xp pro
hi,
I=B4m having avance ac=B497 audio device installed on my asus=20 p4b motherboard and my xp simply doesn=B4t seem to=20 recognise it.Actually I got it working after asking about=20 the problem here a couple of moths ago. Mr Doug Knox gave=20 an excellent answer here somewhere but I have lost it,=20 too. I mean I lost the device somehow and now I should find=20 the path either to Mr Knox=B4s answer or more important, to=20 that device. Of course I could buy a cheap soundcard, but that=B4s not=20 my way of relationing- so far... regards timo heikkil=E4
