Dear Mike

You wrote that I just had to take ownership of the files, and I have tryed
to do that but I keep getting a message that says that "An error occurred
applying attributes to the file".

When I tryed to look fore the help as you wrote to me, there is a note that
says that " you will not be able to access an encrypted file without the
EFS-key, even ig you have the necessary permissions.", how can I get that
key.

I have tryed to restore a backup I have made to my tape, but these files is
also inaccessible, so what do I have to do.???

Hi

You might be able to save the files if you can get hold of the old user profile

folder.

Microsoft have a tool (reccerts.exe) that requires you to send them some of the

old profile files (paid support), or if you are an advanced user, you can take
a shot at yourself, take a look he
