printer

Why can't i print from wordpad or notepad? When i type
something in wordpad and click print all it does is send
out a blank sheet of paper .
I have been told to uninstall and delete all printer inf.
out of system and disconnect the printer and shut down
the PC. Then restart and reconnect and go through the
printer setup process and make the print the default
printer . None of this helped .
What else can i do ? Thanks Gene
